Bebop

What a small retro radio looks like with a little liquifying and swirling

Mixed Yolks II

By special request,,here is the colorized version :-)

Mixed Yolks

A collaboration between myself and my 4 year old grandson, this started out as a picture of a bowl of eggs, before mixing for scrambling. We did quite a bit of manipulations, enhancing, etc to reach the point where we both said *I like it*

Tulip

Although....if I WERE to work with the photo below, I would end up with THIS!

Beleza Roxa

Today's entry...another beauty from Nature, no enhancing needed!

Pain

Making a Deposit

Lots of work done to this one. First I changed the stone wall by painting some of the rocks in assorted colors and blurring the moss, then I cut, and pasted a squirrel from another picture, and added grass. Since he has what looks like a nut in his mouth and there is that nice hole in the wall I decided to make the bank sign too. I really like how the various steps came together in this one.
Comments??

Amber

An old photo, updated a bit, of our Weimaraner Amber, who had a thing for that feather duster! Everytime someone came home she ran and got it to greet them. We never could figure out why, OR get her to use it for dusting...lol

Puppy Love

an old photo of our Cocker Spaniel Bo and one of her pups, Bo is waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge, hopefully the pup is living a happy life. All I did here was crop, , resize, add the edge and text and change the brightness and contrast a bit

Curl

The picture of the tree below was my project of 2 nights ago...the picture beneath it is what it now looks like,,hard to believe it's the same picture huh?

If you notice, the multi colored blue section is the grass with flowers and the darker blue is the trunk of the tree picture above..transformed into an ocean wave..

Sunrise

Found an older photo of a tree that I took that was a bit blurry, made a mirror image of it and joined it to the first one, to make a sort of archway, then played with the colors and shadowing some and here is the result. The size of this one is approx. 17" x 6"

No Fires!

Totally un-enhanced, sometimes Nature's beauty is enough!

Along the River Bank

Flor Del Fuego

What started off as a pretty but plain old purple flower is now a red beauty!

Corn Loving Cat

Another older photo, this one of Katie, my corn loving cat! I managed to catch her in action one day as she spotted the corn, pulled it a little closer and then settled down to enjoy it!

Coquille D'Aqua

The same shell as seen below, this time recolored in photoshop..I love the illusion of iridescence on the shell if you enlarge the photo.

Trésors D'Océan

An arrangement of shells, a piece of sponge I believe, and a strand of pearls, shot against a background of royal blue marbled flannel fabric. I love this shot of ocean treasures. This is a new photo, taken a couple of days ago.
The original photo, a scene of a snowy wooded lot behind my old house, in the background an elderly housing complex...
The same scene..through the magic of photoshop, turned into an "INFERNO*

*AFTER THE FIRE* is out, all that remains are ashes and ghostly memories of what once was

Last, but not least, the same scene again, this time transformed into the *WILD WOODS* of a child's imagination..

It begins....

It actually began a few days ago, when I started playing with some older photos in paint...and I was hooked!
I have always loved photography, I used to get on my bike with my camera and ride everywhere, taking shots of everything and anything I found interesting. So this is a love rediscovered and I am so glad it's back in my life.
Shown above is "Racoons" a picture that I took 24 years ago and just dug out..all I did to this one was to add that border effect.
